    Dear Kyle,

You are doing a great service to the Bush Hawk owners in developing your website. Since our airplane is exceptional (and less common than Super Cubs) it is helpful to be able to contact other pilots that may provide suggestions on how to operate and maintain the BH. For example: I just removed my Aerocet Amphibs Floats and installed the wheel landing gear. Since floats come off easier (I assume) than they go back onto the plane, I am starting early to gather advice on how to remount the floats next spring. Also, I am getting a new set of Airglide 3600 skis ready to mount. Any hints on that will be appreciated.

There are about 23 taildraggers that operate on skis each winter around the Brainerd, Minnesota (KBRD) airport. This is pine tree country with so many lakes that nearly everyplace is a good landing location. Travel and visiting friends by ski plane (or floatplane in the summer) is easy and tremendous fun.

Several of us that fly together have mounted video camera on our planes (our other plane is a Husky A1-B) and have made movies of some our travels; To Inuvik; To Churchhill; and to Sante Fe New Mexico. The new Bush Hawk has video cables run through the wing to the hard points and we hope to install video cameras this winter.

Thank you for bringing us Bush Hawk drivers together with your website.
